I'm Candice, mommy/mentor/mediator of two delightfully precocious, decidedly beautiful, all consuming, and ever opinionated little people. Since shortly after my son’s birth in 2009, I’ve been lucky enough to stay home with my munchkins, carving out a fun little place to call home in Las Vegas, while the love of my life makes it all possible!

My husband and I are both transplants. I grew up in a rural area near Reno and my husband is from a farm in Iowa. Admittedly, my happily ever after didn't always feature raising a family in Vegas, but at the moment, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be! There are occasions I would promptly wish to be stranded on a deserted island, should a genie magically appear (2nd wish: wine and fresh sushi), but what mom doesn't have those moments?!

I’ll try to blog at least once a week about places to visit and things to do in this beautiful desert so eventually this site may serve as a reference for not only Las Vegas families, but visiting families.
